Designer Dublin Christmas Market comes to College Green

Cllr. Deirdre Heney wishes to advise constituents that a “Designer Dublin Christmas Market” will take place on Friday the 12th December from 10am to 5pm and on Saturday 13th December from 10am to 6pm on the Bank of Ireland forecourt, College Green. Over thirty designers and craftspeople, all based in the capital, will be showcasing their unique Irish handcrafted creations. The initiative, promoted by Dublin City Council’s Local Enterprise Office, Bank of Ireland, and Plato Dublin, is aimed at encouraging the public to buy Irish-handcrafted gifts for Christmas. The Designer Dublin Christmas Market will be showcasing the best design in Irish-made fashion, jewellery, art, toys, furniture, ceramics, craft and artisan food produce. A brass band will play Christmas carols each day and Santa Claus will make an appearance on Saturday!
