Residential Artists’ Studio Open Call 2021
Councillor Deirdre Heney wishes to advise constituents about Dublin City Council Arts Office open call to Irish and international Artists’ as well as Arts Organisations interested in applying for its “2021 Residential Scheme”, the scheme will run from October 2021 to July 2022.
There area 4 residences on offer for periods of three months to ten months. Shorter periods of occupation may be considered at the discretion of the City Arts Officer subject to demand or as part of an agreed joint program with Dublin City Council.
Albert Cottages consists of 2 x properties located in Hampstead Park, Dublin 9, a tranquil parkland setting; each cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, living area, kitchen and a small studio/work space.
St Patrick’s Lodge is located in St Patrick’s park next to St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin City. This is a busy city park. The property also consists of 2 bedrooms, living area, kitchen and a small studio/work space. Please note, St. Patrick’s Lodge will only be available from April 2022 to July 2022.
Wooden Buildings, located at East Essex Street in Temple Bar. This property is a two bed apartment with spacious living room area and kitchen.
All properties are fully furnished and include complementary TV and wifi service. Rent for each property is set at €750 per month.
The final month of occupation may be reduced by a few days to facilitate change over. The letting arrangement will be with a single individual or entity regardless of the number of persons occupying the property.
