St. Anne’s Park Rose festival Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th July, 2014.

Cllr. Heney wishes to advise constituents that St. Anne’s Park Rose Festival takes place this weekend. It’s an entertaining and fun day out for all the family and is held at the peak of flowering for roses which is a really special time to see them at their best.

The Rose Festival is a chance to celebrate the simplicity of the rose. Its an opportunity for a weekend in Dublin’s second biggest park enjoying the atmosphere, taking the time to visit the rose garden and enjoy all that the Park has to offer. There will be music from Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the eclectic sounds of the Prairie Dawgs, Young Ballet by Ballet Fusion and lots more entertainment.

There will be plant sellers, Nurseries, Garden Centres and Florists, master composters and bee keepers, recyclers and up-cyclers. There will be a good assortment of trade stands and the Farmers Market will be in full swing over the weekend.

Admission to the Festival is free and car parking is provided within the Park, weather permitting. The entrance to car park is from Sybil Hill Road.
